TLC’s Chilli Revealed as 2024 Trump Donor

Posted on March 30, 2026March 30, 2026 by Amir Khan

The “No Scrubs” singer faces renewed scrutiny after financial ties to the Trump campaign surface.New federal records have brought the political activity of TLC’s Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas into the spotlight.

According to FEC filings reported by Meidas News, the “No Scrubs” singer made several financial contributions to Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and related Republican committees.

The documents list a Rozonda Thomas out of Stone Mountain, Georgia, an address linked to the R&B star, as the donor behind multiple transactions. The breakdown includes $210.60 sent to WinRed, the primary GOP payment processor, along with $340.60 for the Trump National Committee JFC.

Additionally, records indicate she gave $486.54 to Never Surrender Inc., a fundraising group closely associated with Trump.

This isn’t the first time Thomas has found herself at odds with certain segments of her fanbase over social issues. Back in 2017, during an interview with the UK’s Channel 4 News, she faced heavy criticism for her response when asked about the Black Lives Matter movement.

“I personally didn’t go to any marches or anything like that. For me, all lives matter, you know what I mean?” Thomas stated at the time. She went on to explain her stance by saying, “Because there is a time when different groups are targeted for different things. So I just think that what happened, even with the police brutality against these young Black boys and stuff like that — all of that kind of stuff is wrong. Even if it was a caucasian teen kid that this was happening to, it’s just not right. And some people will take that authoritative position and go crazy with it, obviously. I think that before people are hired in these positions, they need to do some kind of better background check or mental stability check on them to see if they can really handle being in a position like that.”

While Chilli was vocal about her perspective on authority and law enforcement, her bandmate Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins took a much more indifferent approach to the political landscape of the time. When asked about her experience as a Black woman during the Trump administration, Watkins made it clear where her priorities stood. “I don’t care about Donald Trump. I mean, God is my president. So I just feel sorry for people it affects, but I don’t care about him,” T-Boz said.
